I am an Algerian-born, Kuwait-raised, and UK-based visual artist and creative producer. My artistic practice explores and dismantles the different interpretations of societal notions, particularly within the context of post-coloniality and social adaptions; psychoanalytically characterised by the interpretations of human behaviour as ‘performance’. I conduct my artistic intellect primarily through the mediums of a staged and interactive performances, installation alongside photography and videography.

I have a record of exhibiting across the UK and Europe while engaging various communities. Among others, I have showcased work and artistically collaborated with SomoS Berlin, Manchester International Festival, Live Art Development Agency (London), V&A Museum (London), HOME Manchester, P21 Gallery (London) Liverpool Arab Arts Festival (Liverpool), The Arab British Centre (Manchester).

In parallel to my artistic practice, I have maintained a strong track record of creatively producing diverse projects within the cultural sector in the UK and Europe at prominent organisations and agencies including, formerly, Shubbak Festival (London), Crafts Council (London), and currently, Kazam! Agency (Paris), National Trust’s London Programme (London), and The Place Theatre (London)
