“Museum Leila is a fashion film by British-Algerian director and visual artist Nadira Amrani. The work features looks by Karim Adduchi, Tatyana Antoun and Nabil Nayal, whose designs take inspiration from their Moroccan, Lebanese and Syrian heritage. The film follows fashion student Leila, who falls asleep in the V&A and wakes up to find that night has fallen and she is locked in the museum alone. As she roams the halls searching for a way out, dramatic couture dances through the quiet galleries. Leila enters a surreal world in which objects come alive in the shadowy spaces between reality and fantasy, light and darkness, conscious and subconscious.”
